John Kiskinis Honored by Ad Fed

John Kiskinis, president and founder of Kiskinis Communications, was named the recipient of the Advertising Federation of Greater Miami’s Silver Medal Award.

The American Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal Award program recognizes men and women who have made outstanding contributions to advertising and who have been active in furthering the industry's standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern. Silver Medal recipients are selected by a panel of judges from each local club.

Kiskinis is a past winner of Miami-Dade County’s Up & Comers Award in the Public Relations/Sales/Marketing category, and served as president of the Advertising Federation of Greater Miami in 2001. He served two-terms as president of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival – the nation's largest outdoor public arts show – guiding the event to a prestigious #1 ranking in Sunshine Artist Magazine.

A Miami-native, Kiskinis currently serves on the board of directors of the Coconut Grove Junior Chamber Foundation, Miami Bridge Youth & Family Services and the South Dade YMCA.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Florida.
